Precision Windsports provides a concentrated 3, 5, and 10 day (M-F) training programs*.  Five days will generally get a student to solo qualification.  However, every student is different and weather also plays a significant role in determining how much calendar time is required.

Now that Sport Pilot is a reality and Precision Windsports is fully Sport Pilot certified, we are training new pilots to the Sport Pilot standards -- minimum 15 hours dual and 5 hours supervised solo. GA pilots will be trained to solo proficiency.

Additionally, using Adventure Productions'  and/or King Schools ground school materials we will also direct and help you through your self-paced ground school studies to meet FAA written / practical test requirements.  We have an FAA approved testing facility on site, so you can complete your knowledge exam while training here.  Additionally, we can also take care of getting you your Sport Pilot Student Pilot's license while you are here.

Most instructors can only provide part-time instruction because they have other jobs they maintain.  The part-time instruction method may take you months to fly solo do you really want to take that long? Fly faster by training with us.

Our syllabus is designed after that used successfully by general aviation for years.

TRAINING NOTES:

  1. Flight sessions are typically 1.5  to 2 hours including 30 minutes of ground discussion and flight prep.

*10 day programs are only available to customers who have purchased their new AirBorne trike through Precision Windsports.

**To solo the student must have his/her own aircraft.  Precision Windsports reserves the right to refuse the fly in an aircraft we are unsure of.
